These soft sculptures are the result of a painter's "block" in Paris. I became so immersed in the study of history, design, architecture and art while in Paris that, I think in order to save my artistic sanity, I began producing my tongue-in-cheek soft sculptures. Following lengthy research, I created patterns to produce 3-D works which are meant to be enjoyed--whether the owner uses them as functional cushions or places then on pedestals--they can be enjoyed from an art and historical standpoint, a design standpoint, and a luxurious standpoint, for they are made with the best materials and are sturdy enough to be hugged and leaned upon. They are meant to delight the intellect and the senses.

All pieces are made with an inner form which is filled with down & feathers or polyester and then inserted into the outer form. These pieces are numbered as a series. I sought the best fabrics--all the first pieces were made in Paris. Thus, they were rather costly to produce. For example, Napoleon's Hat costs $55 each to produce in Paris.
